It was a gray dreary morning when I got to Arcadia Beach State Recreation Site, about 5 miles South of Cannon Beach. I was hoping to make some good sunrise images here but that didn't seem to be happening any time soon.
Hoping that the light would eventually improve, I concentrated on Lion Rock, working the angles and trying to get a feel for the area. I wasn't capturing anything special until this obliging seagull entered my frame. A step to the right on my part, a turn of the head on his part, and I finally got an image I was happy with. Thanks Mr Gull!
