Haystack Rock And The Needles reflected in the wet sand during a stormy morning at Cannon Beach in Oregon.
The scene is not as tranquil as it seems. The winds were whipping sand at 45mph with 60mph gusts. It was also raining so I couldn't point my lens further South (left) without getting rain drops on its front element.
Everything is relative, though. 3 hours earlier I was battling 60mph sustained winds with 90mph gusts at Tovolana Beach.
