Horseback Riding On Bandon Beach

Here's something a bit different from Bandon, Oregon.

I saw these horseback riders as I was descending the stairs at Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint. I scrambled to get some images of them in that area and while I managed to get a couple of decent ones, I wished that I could have been closer and gotten better compositions.

So, they headed on up the beach toward Coquille Point and I did the photographer thing between Face Rock and Coquille Point waiting for the sunset to unfold.

As I started back toward Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint, I saw the horseback riders behind me, making their way back down the beach. I was near Wizard Hat, so I gave the riders plenty of room between myself and the shoreline, composed the scene, and waited.

Sure enough, they took the route I was hoping they would and I got this nice image.
