A digital composite of the Mustang (left) and Whetstone (right) mountains sitting on the far horizon of the San Pedro River Valley beneath a companion satellite in a blue sky streaked by white wispy cirrus clouds.
The planet is a spherical projection of satellite imagery showing the mountains in Southeastern Arizona covered in snow. The clouds are real and are the reason I chose this image for I wanted to see if I could realistically composite the planet behind them.
It needs work and I need more practice, like figuring out how to better light such objects, but all-in-all, I think it's a pretty good first effort.
