I took this one at the Middle Emerald Pool in Zion National Park while contorting myself around a boulder to get a better angle on a flower I was imaging. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement as an itty-bitty frog jump into a crevice to protect itself from being squished by somewhat precariously balanced body. Closer inspection revealed other tiny frogs staring back at me from their small hidey-spots in the fractured sandstone.
I quickly forgot about the flower, for it wasn't going anywhere, and proceeded to try and make some images of these cute little amphibians, of which this was my favorite. For scale, the entire frog is not much larger than my thumbnail.
