A Mexican Jay (Aphelocoma wollweberi) perched on a dead Oak tree limb at Brown Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains of Southeastern Arizona.
These birds are fun to watch if you have nothing else to do, and best avoided if you're trying to stalk something else, for they will raise quite a ruckus and let everything in the forest know what you're up to.
