Description

Lake Crescent lies nestled in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains in Washington's Olympic National Park. It's rather isolated, about 18 miles west of Port Townshend in the northern-most part of the Olympic Peninsula on a scenic part of the U.S. 101 Pacific Coast Hightway.

Carved by glacial activity thousands of years ago, it's the 2nd deepest lake in the state of Washington, with pristine blue water that can reflect a wonderful blue sky with white clouds and the surrounding forest-covered hills on a calm sunny day.
